In the Campaign mode, the story is set in the year 2035 and will feature David Mason from Black Ops 2 as the main protagonist. This revelation aligns with previous reports that this year's title would be a direct sequel to Black Ops 2, increasing the likelihood of this rumor's accuracy.

For the Multiplayer mode, the leaker claims that classic maps will make a comeback, and players might also see the return of the Uplink game mode, last seen in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare's Multiplayer.
